MARGARITAVILLE RESORT — GALVESTON, TEXAS

TMG+ is providing preconstruction and construction management on the new Margaritaville Resort in Galves-ton, Texas. The beachfront project will include a 314-guestroom tower, several restaurants and bars and an expansive water park. Gensler is providing design. 

HYATT PLACE/HYATT HOUSE — OPEN FOR BUSINESS

On February 23rd, the Hyatt Place/Hyatt House hotel opened for business just in time for the Houston Rodeo. This is TMG+ first hotel for Satya, Inc. as Project Managers. The dual-brand 298-room, 14-story hotel is located in Houston’s medical center.

The Hyatt House offers 141 rooms and the Hyatt Place has 157 rooms. Both brands share common public space and amenities such as the extensive seventh-floor amenity deck that provides outdoor gathering space, multiple fire pits, an outdoor pool and bar, indoor meeting space and a fitness center. The hotel also features a full-service restaurant and lobby cafe, two on-site bars, a dining area and a six-level parking garage. E. E. Reed was the General Contractor and design was provided by G2 Architects.

TMG+ LEADING FAIRMONT MUSEUM DISTRICT #3 AS PROJECT MANAGERS

TMG+ is excited to be providing Project Management services for Fairmont Residential on the third phase of The Fairmont Museum District. This luxury multi-family complex, located in Houston, Texas, will feature 9 stories of residential units with over 3 levels of private parking in the garage, an expansive pool deck, fitness area, private screening room, co-working space, and a spacious courtyard area. 

Construction is ongoing and the project will be completed in late 2024. 

THE DAKOTA AT KEMAH — KEMAH, TEXAS

TMG+ will be providing Project Management services on The Dakota at Kemah, a multifamily apartment project located in Kemah, Texas. The complex will have 10, 3-story buildings totaling 229 apartments Residences can choose from 1, 2 or 3-bedroom units and enjoy a spacious amenities center, outdoor pool with kitchen/grill area, private garages and other parking options. Construction is set to begin in late 2023. 

TMG+ AWARDED TIARA ON THE BEACH

TMG+ was recently awarded the role of Project Manager at Tiara on The Beach, an 8-story, 63-unit, luxury condominium that will be located on Seawall Blvd. in Galveston, Texas.

The amenity-rich development will include a game room, golf simulator, media room, private wine storage, a resort-style pool, a state-of-the-art fitness center and walkways to a private beach area.

This is TMG+’s second development with Satya, Inc.

TMG+ AWARDED CORTADO IN AUSTIN, TEXAS

TMG+ is providing Project Management on our second student housing project with the development partnership of WGC. Preliminary site demo has been completed to make way for the 8-story, 155-unit facility located in Austin, Texas. Amenities will include retail space, a dog park, fitness area, pool with outdoor lounge space, sky lounge and a student study area. 

THE EVELYN RUBINSTEIN JEWISH COMMUNITY CENTER DEDICATION

On Sunday, February 26, 2023 TMG+ was present to witness the dedication of the Evelyn Rubenstein Jewish Community Center in Bellaire, Texas. This state-of-the-art campus includes the three-story Samuels Family Community Pavilion, Joe Weingarten Building and tennis center. 

The new facility includes full fitness, group exercise and child play areas with new locker rooms, sauna and pools. A significant water park includes indoor and outdoor lap pools, a family recreational pool and an infant play pool. 

UNITED ORTHODOX SYNAGOGUES — GROUNDBREAKING

United Orthodox Synagogues of Houston recently broke ground and celebrated the important milestone with the congregation. 

The project consists of a new sanctuary building with an adjacent social hall, meat preparation and dairy kitchens, an entry hall, library, administrative offices, break-out rooms, and a Chapel. The new building will connect to the existing Spira Family Building with an exterior, covered walkway. 

TMG+ serves as Project Manager for Ownership. Other team members include Harry Gendel Architects, Butler-Cohen and Frost Bank. 

The project is set to open in early 2024.

TMG+ COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT — DINNER AT DRAKE
A SHELTER FOR CANCER FAMILIES

In March, TMG+ hosted a meal at A Shelter for Cancer Families, a local not-for-profit, who’s mission statement is “to provide stability, shelter and support for families seeking cancer care in the Texas Medical Center.” The dinner was our way to interact with families, offer a distraction from cancer and bring our community together. 

A Shelter for Cancer Families was also the beneficiary of the 2022 Mathis Cup golf tournament. As a family-owned business, we could not be more honored to serve this incredible group of people.

The Mathis Group’s team placed first in the ACRP Golffiesta! The winning foursome was (from L-R) Rob Pack of Watts Pool Company, Shane Hall, a childhood friend of Brandon’s, Conor Kauffman of Kauffman Co., and Team Captain Brandon McKinney. Thanks to ACRP for providing another great event to support the ACRP educational fund, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and Team Audrey’s Heroes. 

2022 MATHIS CUP — ANOTHER YEAR OF FUN, FELLOWSHIP AND GREAT GOLF

TMG’s annual Mathis Cup Golf tournament celebrated its’ 13th season with sixteen individuals participating in our Ryder Cup format event. We have raised and donated over $100,000 for various charities including the Michael J. Fox Foundation, Star of Hope, and the AGC Patrick J. Kiley Scholarship Program.
